Merry Christmas Friends

A day late, but I wanted to wish you all very Merry Christmas and thank you for all your kind messages on Penny's passing.
I have honestly never seen so many people attend a wake, it was a true testament on how many people she touched.  I even joked afterwards that I wondered where she hid all these friends!!!
The night of her funeral, her cat of 18 years died.  Gracie Cat was their when she died and she never left her side.  She stopped eating and wouldn't leave the room.  Penny's son-in-law is a vet and Cheanoa a family friend who is also a vet both examined Gracie Cat and she went into kidney failure and died that night.  It was so sad, her grandchildren live with her also, so it's been very hard on the 3 year old.

Don't you just love this picture of my granddaughter!  She is couldn't get away from Santa fast enough.
But she did have fun yesterday!  She is such a little blessing and she makes us smile too! She is talking a little bit now.  She got a few little baby dolls and she says "Baby" and "Dora", she loves Dora.  I got her the Dora kitchen and she loves it!

I hope you all have a nice day!

Penny

I have very sad news to tell you, my sister-in-law, Penny, passed away today unexpectedly of complications due to her cancer.  We thought we could fight it again, but God had another plan for her.
I am very sad and I wanted to thank everyone who had prayed for her.
She got more bad news last week that her cancer spread into her lungs but just yesterday, they gave us good news that it wasn't in her adrenal glands and maybe they could operate to remove her tumor.
This morning, she died in her daughters arms and she is now pain free in heaven with her Mom and Dad.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, best friend and sister-in-law.

Thank you again for your prayers.

We are very sad to have read about the horrible house fire that the Pittie Pack had that took the lives of their five pets on Friday.  I can't even imagine what they are going through. I can only pray for them now.
If you would like to read about this, please go here and if you would like to make a small donation, please go here.

And the winner is.....

Right before Thanksgiving I posted for a prize of Beethoven's Christmas Adventure and I have finally gotten back to you! I have had tons of family issues going on, my mother has been very sick but she is better now and Penny, my sister-in-law, who has been battling stage 4 carcinoma of the tongue and tonsil is back in the hospital.  Please pray that she does not have lung cancer.  She is going through a battery of tests now.

I have a busy weekend with work, but I'm going to try to visit my friends in blogland! Their must be a lot of Holiday activity going on!  I keep thinking about it, so I'll grab a cup of tea later on and visit!

Thank you and have a great weekend.
