AMAZING ANIMAL LOVERS BLOG

And the winner is....

The winner is ROO!  I asked my son to pick a number from 1-44 on the way to school and he said "27".  When I came home and looked, it was ROO who won the prize pack from the CHIMPANZEE movie.

I did see the movie, this weekend and I LOVED it!  The movie made me laugh, cry and think.  It is definitely worth seeing and if I ever get another pet, his name is going to be "Oscar".  Once you see the movie you will know why.  The chimps are amazing and I think I'm going back to see again with my mother.  She asked me if I wanted to see it again and of course I would!

Have a great day!!!

Don't bother Roo, you're not going to find them!
Please help save the Chimpanzee's!

CHIMPANZEE OPENS TODAY!!!!

Happy Earth Day Friends!

Today is the last day of posting about the Chimpanzee movie.  I will tell you why I did this movie marathon, my mother a few months ago saw the ad in the newspaper and she cut it out and put it on her table and reminds me that it is coming out...She will be so happy that this weekend when I take her to the movies. I haven't told her yet but I'm sure I'm taking her tonight or Saturday night.  I can't wait to see Chimpanzee!  Now granted, I don't go to too many movies but this movie, I will see.  Plus we are helping out a very good cause by helping Chimpanzees, during its opening weekend in support of the Jane Goodall Foundation partnership. For every moviegoer who sees CHIMPANZEE during the film’s opening week (April 20-26, 2012), Disneynature will make a donation to JGI through the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund in order to protect chimpanzees and their habitats, now and into the future.

As promised, fact #5:   Currently 269 chimpanzees live in 34 United States zoos that are accredited with the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). These facilities are dedicated to excellence in animal care, conservation, education and science and meet the highest standards in animal health, husbandry and welfare. See CHIMPANZEE, Save Chimpanzees!

Lets see what my little four legged guys are up too and if they have had any luck in finding the chimpanzees...

 Sniffing and looking...
Winston would tell you it's a dirty job, but somebody has to do it!
 All clear here.

Not even a scent...

Oh well, maybe next time or maybe if they went further into the woods....
hehehehehehehe

I'll be picking the winner of the Chimpanzee Prize Pack later on today!

Well, don't forget to post a comment and you will be entered to win the CHIMPANZEE prize pack...and CHIMPANZEE opens TODAY, April 20th!!

I hope you have enjoyed the five days of Chimpanzee knowledge as much as I did!  If you haven't gone to the media file, I suggest you do, you can see more pictures, other digital assets and even down load some coloring pages for your little peeps!

  THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!

CHIMPANZEE...day 4, the search continues...

Hello friends...

If nothing else makes me want to see this movie more than wanting to see these chimpanzees it would be to help save Chimpanzees, during its opening weekend in support of the Jane Goodall Foundation partnership. For every moviegoer who sees CHIMPANZEE during the film’s opening week (April 20-26, 2012), Disneynature will make a donation to JGI through the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund in order to protect chimpanzees and their habitats, now and into the future.

I am really enjoying them.

Fact #4: Scientists have discovered that chimpanzees living in different parts of Africa have distinct customs or cultural traits that are passed along from one generation to the next by learning rather than instinct.

On with our search...

MOM, what do you think we are going to find from in here...

Well, don't forget to post a comment and you will be entered to win the CHIMPANZEE prize pack...and CHIMPANZEE opens on Friday, April 20!!

CHIMPANZEE...onward with the search...

Day three of Chimpanzee facts....

To help save Chimpanzees, during its opening weekend in support of the Jane Goodall Foundation partnership. For every moviegoer who sees CHIMPANZEE during the film’s opening week (April 20-26, 2012), Disneynature will make a donation to JGI through the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund in order to protect chimpanzees and their habitats, now and into the future.

This is totally pawesome!!

CHIMPANZEE  Fact #3: Female chimpanzees give birth to a single infant (twins are rare) every 5 to 6 years. A newborn chimpanzee weighs 3–4 pounds and is born helpless. Within a few days it is able to travel by clinging to its mother’s stomach and by 5 to 7 months old it is strong enough to ride on her back.

Too cute if you ask me...

On with the search....

Buffy: OK, we have a problem here, Lilly, what on earth are you doing outside?  You are an indoor cat, remember?  Mom is going to go banana's (get it, chimpanzees, bananas...) when she finds you...

Lilly:  I'm looking for Chimpanzees, silly!!

Well, don't forget to post a comment and you will be entered to win the CHIMPANZEE prize pack...and CHIMPANZEE opens on Friday, April 20!!

I am looking for CHIMPANZEE'S....

Hello Friends,

I'm out today on this beautiful Spring day looking for those Chimpanzee's that my mother keeps talking about....but first....Fact #2: Chimpanzee populations live in communities of 15 to 120 individuals. Each community consists of males and females of varying ages that share a territory. Male chimpanzees stay in one community their entire lives. However, females will sometimes leave their mothers and join new communities when they reach adulthood.

Now back to me:  I know I can find a Chimpanzee somewhere!

 Nothing today...maybe tomorrow...

Remember the CHIMPANZEE opens Friday, April 20th and if you comment on this post, you will be entered to win the fun Chimpanzee Prize pack.

CHIMPANZEE

Hello Friends,

Did you know that Chimpanzees are endangered:  Just 100 years ago, roughly 1 million chimpanzees lived in the lush rainforest of equatorial Africa. Today, only 1/10 remain, primarily due to habitat loss and illegal hunting.  Current trends indicate that African ape populations will decline by an additional 80% in the next 30 to 40 years.  CHIMPANZEE the movie, is coming out Friday, April 20th, Earth Day!

Here's the scoop.... If I run this for five days and you comment, you will be entered to win a prize pack from CHIMPANZEE..I will choose the winner on Friday!  YAH!!!!

CHIMPANZEE will open in US theaters on Friday, April 20, Earth Day!! YAH!!

Good Luck, see you tomorrow with another fun fact!!!
