AMAZING ANIMAL LOVERS BLOG

A quite January day at the farm.

I still get to my Mother's farm most days to check in and make sure all is well!  It is so peaceful on the farm and the air is especially crisp and clean when it is below freezing outside!

This is the resident duck and I believe she is the farm manager's pet.

Here's my horse, Lucky, enjoying the cool crisp air!

I'm not sure how the ducks swim in the cold icy water, but they love the cold too!

If your going back to work after the Holidays, enjoy your day!

A beautiful header!! I love your pictures of your mom's farm, and that duck is the strangest one I've ever seen.

The farm looks like great fun. I wonder if Miss Buffy gets to enjoy it. I've tried ice skating in a pond like that last year and took a dip. A bit too cold for me.

*Sigh* It looks wonderful. So much healthier, mentally and emotionally and spiritually, than commuting an hour to work each way and sitting at a desk all day....

I personally do not have to be back at my job today but Mom was absolutely ecstatic to have another 5 day workweek ahead! Or was it me bein' ecstatic that I have the house to myself? Either way....

.....If you woulda included directions to this little slice of heaven, I would be on your Mom's doorstep right now!

The farm is beautiful, it would be a wonderful place to spend some time.

Ducks don't seem to mind the cold water, I was taking so photos yesterday on some on a icy pond. That is a nice shot of the Muscovy duck, I rarely see them here.
