Winston, buddy, what did you get into?

Winston had a great day Saturday, he was just about to jump on the couch and I noticed he was covered in soot~I grabbed him and put him in the tub. Fortunately my husband was home and he volunteered to wash him for me while I took pictures!
Mom, please, I'm taking a bath! Do you have to take pictures now!!! Buffy can't believe her eyes and she was glad she didn't roll in the same spot!

The dirt was just pouring off him~YUCK!!! Remember now, I just had him groomed this week, about three days ago!



A little rinsing never hurt anyone!


As soon as he was done, Buffy and I went outside to investigate,
is this the spot?



Detective Buffy is unsure and keeps wondering around.






Well, we have no idea what happened or what he got into, he was with me the whole time and didn't even wonder for a minute. Sometimes the greatest mystery's go unsolved!

    LOL! Yes, one of the great mysteries of life--what our fur companions get into, and how!

    Aww, poor Winston. Dogs and cats always look so pathetic when being bathed. We hope he got some treats afterward to make up for having to suffer through it all. ;-)

    Winston looks a little pissed off about being in the tub in that first picture=very funny!!...Glad you caught on about the dirt before he got it all over the house!...Have a great Sunday.

    Luckily our Mom would never attempt to give us a bath at home, even with Dad's help. But Ciara has managed to get pretty muddy lately. A good wet towel and some gentle scrubbing seems to do the trick until the next time. We bet Winston looked great again once he was done.

    Our dogs hate a bath but run around in circles happily afterward and roll on the floor trying to smell 'normal' again. Yours?

    Winston...there is an old saying 'do the deed, pay the price'!!! We hope whatever it was you rolled in was worth it. HA!! Buffy looks like she is enjoying watching your suffering. Great post...and thanks to Dad for helping mom so we could see it.

    We can not believe that you have jack-coozy! We take our baths in the kitchen sink! Would would think that mommy would at least decorate or something?
